One of our most popular artists in the gallery is the wonderfully talented Catherine Stephenson. Her 'Hope' series has proved hugely successful and we're regularly asked for repeat copies of her 'Treehouse 1' picture.
Born in North Yorkshire, Catherine has been a professional watercolourist for more than twenty years. She’s found that it’s only when we stop and look more closely at our own surroundings that we notice just how eccentric and vivid everything is. It’s this quirkiness and extravagance of colour that she tries to capture in her paintings.
